For the Beyeler Museum’s Yayoi Kusama exhibition, we created an engaging activation that brought the artist's iconic patterns to life. Translating her signature aesthetic into immersive digital displays allowed us to capture the artist's unique energy.
APPROACH
We visualized different concept ideas using storyboards and style frames. All proposals were developed in close consultation with the museum and the artist, which allowed us to define the style, tone, and keep the original vision of the artist from an early stage of production.
MAKING OF
After storyboarding, Fondation Beyeler shot footage of the museum to our specifications. We then tracked and retouched the footage and combined it with the digital elements we created and animated.
