Animated Short Film

The European Union is working towards a Common European Asylum System. EASO supports its implementation by applying a bottom-up approach. The aim is to ensure that individual asylum cases are dealt with in a coherent way by all Member States.

Briefing

EASO commissioned us to create an awareness spot showing the journey of those in need and to create attentiveness, empathy and acceptance without being pitiful.

Approach

We created a vivid voice over text with a 2D concept, based on kids drawings that show war and terror to increase attention for those who carry the deepest wounds from suppression and displacement. For us at dyrdee, it is a matter that is very close to our hearts to protect and support those who do not have a voice of their own.
