INVICTUS GAMES | EVENT
For the opening ceremony and the Parade of Nations at the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023, the central idea was that the Rhine — once a river that divided nations — has become a symbol of connection within Europe today.
Briefing
In collaboration with 1000K / Henning Soppe, we developed motion principles and visual interpretations that gave each chapter of the show its own distinct character. All motion assets were designed as modular elements, allowing them to be precisely adapted on site to the 90-metre-long LED screens.
Approach
The opening and closing ceremonies each welcomed an audience of 25,000 people in the stadium, with millions more watching on screen.
