opening sequence & end credits

For „Spotlight“ – one of nickelodeons most successful teen oriented tv series in germany, that takes place in a Berlin music school – we’ve created a special title sequence and end credits for the usually 12 min episodes becoming movie length, based on a specially composed song by Rapper FARGO.

BRIEFING

For going full movie length between Christmas and New Year, the show needed a new opening, that’s more focused on the toughness and coolness of this teenie show. The major characters and also their signature moves should be covered by this 90 sec opening, as well as the special spotlight brand and style.

APPROACH

For the opening sequence we wanted it to be more special and cinematic. So we created a unique and highly recognizable version, using graphics and the underlined spotlight song to add some fresh and cheerful new design elements for the 3 up-coming movies. A well-balanced mix of freezed frames, split screens and dancing graphics.
